Chase Township Current Announcements & Bid Requests

Chase Township is accepting sealed bids for 2 garage doors from the old county garage that was demolished. 
Inspections of the doors will take place at 7:00 P.M. before the 7/16/24 Township meeting. 
The bid deadline is July 16th. Sealed bids will be opened at the township meeting on the 16th.
Bids can be delivered to the Township Clerk, or submitted to the Board at the inspection of the doors. All bids due before the start of the 7/16 Board Meeting. If no bids are received, the doors will be taken to Fair Salvage.

Chase Township will begin a full reassessment of all Residential parcels in Chase Township in June of 2024.

Chase Township is taking applications for a contracted Assessor for our local unit. Contracted services will begin 6/01/2024.

Chase Township is also looking for candidates to run for Township Supervisor in the 2024 election.
Candidates interested in running need to contact the Lake County Clerk and file a nominating petition by 4:00 P.M. on April 23rd.

Chase Township is seeking township electors to serve on the Chase Township Board of Review.

Interested electors can call or email the supervisor.

Township Budget Meeting

The Chase Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025 at the Chase Township Hall on March 19, 2024 at 6:30pm. The property rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection with the township clerk or township supervisor.

The Chase Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting with a 10 business day notice to the Chase Township Board. PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST
Notice is hereby given that the Public Accuracy Test will be conducted in Chase Township to test the optical scan ballot counting equipment, to be used in the
February 27, 2024 Presidential Primary Election. 

Chase Twp. Test Date: February 13, 2024 at 3:15 pm

** Lake County Clerk’s Office Early Voting Test will be at 3:00 PM in the Clerk’s Office on February 12, 2024**
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the computer program used to tabulate the votes cast at the election meets the requirements of the law.
